Glasses

The judgement of others is pain
Their words will sink in and turn into shame,
Your thoughts are hidden behind your eyes
For they are always looking up at the skies,
Your always wanting to get away
But always knowing you have to stay.

As I hide behind my glasses on my face
I feel like I'm just running in place,
These glasses hide my true colors
Not even my real brother,
Has seen me near myself
Nor has my love seen me on that self.

People act like they know me
Yet they have never really seen,
What I'm hiding behind these glasses.
